As a showdog, Twist did it all. She finished her Championship with a bang by taking Best of Variety from the classes over several top rated male Specials. She went on to take many more Best of Variety wins before and after raising her puppies.
Shown at their very first week-end out this is five of the six pups from Twist's first litter. The sire was Ch. Rosewood Sherman Tank. All six pups from this litter went on to finish their Championships and three of them became top ten rated with multiple group placements. All lived as family companions and are still bringing joy to their owners.
Heaven Hi's Half Track Harmony, called "Shout" by her owners, was Winners Bitch at the 1997 American Manchester Terrier Club National Specialty. We were very proud of her. That win finished her Championship.
Ch. Heaven Hi's Reveille, "Stitch", added to the litter's reputation by taking an owner handled Group One in Cheyenne, Wyoming. A very proud moment.
Twist's second litter, sired by Ch. Spiceaisle Gold Strike, produced four puppies, all males. Two were sold as pets and the other two, Heaven Hi's Strike Up The Band (Apollo) and Heaven Hi Strikes A Bargain (Arrow) were shown, by their owners, to their Championships.
After finishing his Championship, Arrow preferred to spend his time as guardian to his owners daughter; a job he still performs very well.
This is Apollo. Now retired and living as a
very spoiled pet, Apollo is a multiple group placing dog who holds Award of
Merits from Westminister Kennel Club, The AKC Eukanuba Invitational and the
American Manchester Terrier Club. He is also a sire of some note. The first American bred Toy Manchester to win a Championship in England in more
that 60 years is his son. Twist's third litter was born in 2001 on her seventh birthday. We added two Championships from this litter out of Ch. KC's Notorious Kidd At Burmack, Heaven Hi's Salute To Burmack and our own Heaven Hi's Honor Bound. Bounder took a group placement his second week-end out and seemed sure to finish quickly but problems plagued his owners and they eventually decided to divorce. Shortly after that Bounder was re-homed and, following in his mothers footsteps, finished his Championship with a wonderful Best of Winners in Washington last September during the National Specialty celebration. He became Twist's tenth champion offspring. Ten for ten as she had reached the decade mark that year. =================================== Twist was always a good mother and raised her babies well but she just did not seem to enjoy the third bunch of hooligans as much as she had the first two. Many people assured us that another litter wouldn't hurt her but we decided she had done her part and she was spayed after the third litter was weaned. Since then she has occupied her time bossing everyone around. Most recently she acted as my demonstration dog for the Obedience Class I was instructing. Obedience was never her favorite thing but she wasn't shy about collecting the cookies I rewarded her with. She seems to enjoy watching, from the couch, the antics of our current litter. They are the promise of our future and we hope they all turn out just like her. Ch. Tantara's Show Tunes For Hvnhi - a Twist granddaughter out of Shout

Pleasure, our fourth generation of beautiful Toy Manchester bitches. Called
April, she and her mother, Cassie, are the extension of our firm
foundation. My husbands failing health and lingering, final
illness have been the priority for the last several years but now it's time to
move on and, as always, a new puppy brings smiles. Check back to see how she does in the ring but she
has already made my heart happy. What's New! | Puppies | Foundation | Fun Page
